Last week was rough. After Maria got her second chemo treatment on Monday (with a continuous drip through Wednesday), nausea was a constant issue.
However, with a few new changes to her medication, things started to get better on Sunday. In fact, this week has been pretty good! Pain is somewhat under control and she is sleeping much better through the night. And on top of that, she gained a few pounds back—nothing great, but it is heading in the right direction.
Based on how she is feeling, the doctor said he wants to keep going with aggressive treatments, and he is scheduling another CT scan for mid-January. Treatment number 3 is scheduled for Monday, December 20.
Keep the prayers coming! Maria is determined to be in that 10% survival group.
